These Terms govern your use of the Florence app and website. By creating an account or using Florence, you agree to them.

Florence is a Muslim matrimonial service for adults seeking marriage. You must be at least 18 years old, legally free to marry, and use Florence only with sincere, marriage-focused intentions. It is not a casual dating or social networking service.
You must give accurate, complete and current information, and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Create only one account for yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
Every profile is reviewed by our admin team before it goes live. We may approve, reject, suspend or remove any profile, and we may ask for further information or verification. If you involve a guardian (wali), their approval may also be required before your profile is approved.
Photos and contact details stay hidden until a match is mutual. Messages are for getting to know each other with a view to marriage. Florence does not guarantee any match, response or outcome, and we are not a party to any arrangement or marriage between members.
Be honest and respectful. You must not harass, pressure or abuse other members; post false, misleading or impersonating information; share another person’s details or photos without consent; ask for money; promote other services; scrape or copy member data; or use Florence for anything unlawful or contrary to its marriage-focused purpose. We may act on reports and review conversations where needed to keep members safe.
Florence is a paid membership. Prices and any introductory offer are shown before you pay. Membership renews monthly until you cancel, and if you subscribed through the App Store, payment is taken by Apple and you cancel in your App Store account settings. Additional profiles may be separate purchases. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable. See our Subscriptions & Refunds page for details.
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give Florence a limited licence to store, display and use it within the platform to run your profile and matches. You confirm you have the right to share it. See our Copyright page and Privacy Policy for more.
We review profiles but cannot verify everything members tell us. Take care when sharing personal details, involve your family or guardian, and meet in public places. You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions, online and offline.
You can stop using Florence at any time and request deletion from the app. We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms or put others at risk. When a couple agrees to proceed to marriage, their profiles may be archived.
Florence is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of members, for any match or relationship outcome, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time and will tell you in the app or by email if the changes are material. Continuing to use Florence after that means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
